Making Bumble inclusive
for every gender

DESIGN FOR MOBILE · INCLUSIVE DESIGN
While Bumble has always been a safe, empowering space for cis women, the same cannot be said for its nonbinary and non-cisgendered users. Our experience prevented these gender identities to show up authentically on the app, express their gender honestly, date who they want to date and exposed them to regular harassment. It was one of our top complaints for months. We resolved to relook at the entire gender experience on Bumble to make the app a safe, inclusive place for everyone.
